Description:
The Spring Frog Day and Annual Meeting will take place at Hjorthagens Medborgarhus, Folkkulturcentrum in Stockholm on Saturday, March 21, 2026. As usual, there will be sales and lectures, and the annual meeting will be held in connection with Frog Day. Mark your calendar!

PROGRAM

08:30–10:00 CHECK-IN FOR EXHIBITORS

10:00 THE DOORS OPEN AND FROG DAY BEGINS!
We welcome each other to the big spring Frog Event!

10:00–12:00 SALES
Here you can buy frogs, plants, lights, misting nozzles, pumps, fans, vitamins, books, and everything else you need for your terrarium and its inhabitants. Don’t forget to book a table if you plan to sell; as a member, the first table is free!

12:00–13:30 LUNCH

13:30–14:30 ANNUAL MEETING
As a member of the association, you have the opportunity to influence its future by electing a board you trust. You also get the chance to hear about future plans and ideas that the board has worked on during the year. You are warmly welcome!
(The annual meeting will probably be much faster than an hour. If so, the later part of the schedule will start earlier, but we have set aside plenty of time to be sure we finish.)

14:30–15:00 COFFEE BREAK

15:00–16:00 LECTURE 1 – Evan Twomey: On Carotenoid coloration in dart frogs

16:15–17:00 LECTURE 2 – Evan Twomey: On taxonomic work within the Ranitomeya genus (specifically the vanzolinii group)

17:00 The official program ends with cleanup
The fun doesn’t end after Frog Day - some of us usually go out for food and/or visit a frog nerd nearby. More info about the frog hangout will come as the event approaches.

ENTRY
Frog Day is an activity of the Swedish Dendrobatid Society and requires membership. You can sign up on-site (250 SEK or 350 SEK for a family membership for one year), but we will be extra grateful if the membership fee is paid before the event. TABLE BOOKING
If you want to sell frogs, plants, equipment, etc., you need to book a table. The booking form will be available soon. The first table for members is free, and additional tables cost 100 SEK each. An exhibitor list will be published once table booking has opened.
